Ruba Rombic Glass for sale

Simply the Best

This website will introduce you to Simply the Best collection of Ruba Rombic to ever be offered for sale. It was collected by the author of the seminal research book (Phoenix & Consolidated Art Glass 1926-1980) on Ruba Rombic glass over a 40-year period. It consists of over 400 pieces of Ruba Rombic glassware with a concentration of hard-to-find rare items.

Complementing the Ruba Rombic and included as part of this collection is a collection of choice Kopp Modernistic glass, Benedict Modernistic silver plate and Ruba Rombic pretenders.

This collection is located in Prescott Arizona which is about 100 miles north of Phoenix and serviced by a regional airport, Love Field, that can handle private jets. This is a once in a generation opportunity to acquire an outstanding unique collection of the best American Art Deco glass.

There are three videos on this page that you can access by scrolling down the page. The first, below, is a quick 3-minute introduction. The second is an explanation of how Reuben Haley created Ruba Rombic and some of its history. The third video is a review of the glass in my collection.

In addition to these three videos there are photo galleries you can access from the menu on the top of the page. These galleries contain photos of:

  • Collection Highlights
  • Ruba Rombic
  • Kopp Modernistic
  • Benedict Modernistic silver plate
  • Ruba Rombic pretenders

I have tried to provide enough pictures of the glass to give you a good overview of the breadth and depth of the collection.

Of course the best way to appreciate this collection is to see it in person. Prescott Arizona is about 100 miles north of Phoenix and served by Love Field a regional airport. If you are seriously interested in this collection you should contact me so we can discuss a visit to see the collection.

Ruba Rombic - Its Genesis and History

The next video, "Introduction to Ruba Rombic Glass," describes how Reuben Haley created Ruba Rombic and traces its history as the premier American Art Deco glass.

This is based on my first-hand research with Reuben Haley's son, Kenneth Haley and with Walter Przybylek, the son of Jerry Przybylek, a mold maker that worked for Reuben Haley when he created Ruba Rombic.

My Ruba Rombic Collection

The following video is an overview of my extensive Ruba Rombic 400+ piece collection. It runs about 16 minutes as there is a lot of Ruba Rombic glass to cover.

After watching the videos, go to the top of the page and use the drop-down Galleries menu to select individual photo galleries to view.
